Nyla Moujaes to Tre- Rigarmortus. We got Piper Anderson (blackout arts) on there, too. These amazing artists from a collective called Climbing Poetree, people are from all over on this project it is really powerful.

What are the musical backgrounds that you draw inspiration from, or in general what do you draw inspiration from?

Obviously Hip Hop, there are so many MCs, every dope MC from Pharaoe Monch to Bahamadia to Medusa. First of all before I list every single one, I must say, there are so many dope MCs you have never heard of. That is some of the people I drew the most inspiration from.

I only recently learned about Medusa through the film Nobody Knows my Name. She is amazing: she is a storyteller, an mc, a singer. I was: How come she hasn`t got a record out?

She's incredible, she has such a strong presence. But you know, the thing is, the film Nobody Knows my Name by Rachel Raimist puts it perfectly: there are so many people out there, that you have never heard of - especially females, but dudes too. They inspire the hell out of me. I see them and they just have their fire and the hunger to do it and that is what keeps me hungry to keep improving.
